Assad is a partner and head of the regional Projects and Construction team at Trowers and Hamlins. He advises commercial clients and central and local government bodies on construction, maintenance, refurbishment, and development projects. He negotiates and drafts building and engineering contracts and professional appointments and all ancillary construction documentation.

Assad specialises in advising on alliancing and partnered projects in the housing, education, and health sectors and on mixed used developments. His work includes a number of alliancing arrangements incorporating early contractor involvement and supply chain partnering.
